The Gunnison Sustainable Living Library is made possible through a collaboration between Sustainable Development Strategies Group (SDSG), Western State Colorado University students and long time Gunnison Valley citizen, Ralph “Butch” Clark III.

Many of the references in this collection were carefully collected by Ralph “Butch” Clark III over his lifetime in the Gunnison Valley. His objective in collecting these documents has been to preserve information so that as a community we may learn from our history and make informed decisions regarding natural resources and sustainable living.

Sustainable Development Strategies Group facilitates the digitalization of the collection and manages the online library.

Western State Colorado University students are doing the hard work of digitalizing and uploading more and more documents all the time.
